bulletADULT DAY PROGRAMS

Program Aides F/T, Temp and Per Diem (Hauppauge)
Assists in implementation and recording of program services for individuals as outlined in each individual’s plan of care. Responsible for the protective oversight and safeguards of the individuals assigned throughout the program day. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). SCIP-R, AMAP and CPR certification preferred.

bullet ADULT DAY SERVICES

Service Coordination Manager (Hauppauge)
Oversees day-to-day operations of the Service Coordination Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; and a minimum of five years supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with OMRDD service coordination delivery of services a must. Clean valid NYS Driver's license required.

bullet EDUCATION

Physical Therapist – P/T 22.5 hrs/week (Commack)
Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of those students who have been referred by a physician, and assigned by the Director of Educational Services. The student referred may have difficulties of orthopedic, neuro-muscular, and/or developmental origin. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university. Graduate of a school accredited by APTA. Two years pediatric/rehabilitation experience and NYS License or eligibility upon graduation in Physical Therapy required.

Occupational Therapist P/T 7.5 hours (Commack)
Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of those students who have been assigned by the Director of Educational Services. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) and two years related experience. NYS License/Certification or eligibility upon graduation. Certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association required.

Teacher of the Visually Impaired – P/T 6 hours (Commack)
Provide appropriate individualized instruction to meet the needs of students according to their Individualized Family Service Plans and Individualized Education Plan. Minimum, Bachelor's degree (B. A.), preferably a Master of Science degree from a four-year college or university; some experience preferable. NYS Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired required.

Teacher Aides Subs (Commack)
Assists classroom teacher in curriculum implementation by working with individuals or groups of children as assigned by classroom teacher. Assists in implementing strategies suggested by clinicians to the teacher. Performs frequent daily lifting of individuals with disabilities (ages 2-21), for their activities of daily living needs. High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Residence Managers (Various locations)
Manages one subordinate supervisor (Assistant Residence Manager) who supervises a total of up to 13 employees in the Residence. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training. Supervisory experience in the field of developmental disabilities necessary. Valid clean NYS Driver's License required. SCIP-R, CPR, and AMAP certification preferred.

Assistant Residence Managers (Various locations)
Assist Residence Manager to perform all duties related to oversight of assigned residential program serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Function as Manager in Manager's absence. Supervises a total of up to 13 employees in the Residence. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to six months related experience and/or training. Supervisory experience in the field of developmental disabilities necessary. Valid clean NYS Driver's License required. SCIP-R, CPR, and AMAP certification preferred.

Social Worker - F/T (Commack)
Advocate for all participants of ICF programs and act as a liaison with state and federal agencies, parents, guardians, day treatment and habilitation programs. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and one to three years related experience and/or training necessary.

Recreation Therapist Aide (F/T)  Commack
Assist Recreation Therapist with program implementation as presented by Individual Treatment Plans.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to six months related experience and/or training.  Experience with the developmentally delayed/disabled population preferred. Valid clean NYS Driver's License preferred. 

Direct Support Professionals- F/T, P/T & Per Diem (Various Locations)
Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in activities of daily living. High school degree or GED required. Must have a clean and valid NYS Driver’s License.

FACILITIES
Painter F/T (Various Locations)
Applies preparatory materials, paints, and stains to surfaces of walls, ceilings, equipment, and furniture. Prepares and applies appropriate materials to a varied surfaces including buildings, equipment and other surfaces. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training. Valid current New York State Driver License with an acceptable driving record.
