A Message from the President/CEO

Welcome,

On behalf of the over 1,000 employees at United Cerebral Palsy Association of Long Isand. (UCP of Long Island), I welcome you to our website.

We are proud of our more than 60 year history in creating opportunities and helping to fulfill the dreams of thousands of individuals and families. Our name is our legacy, but as this website shows “We Are More Than Our Name." Fewer than 40% of the individuals we serve have Cerebral Palsy. Whether a disability occurs at birth, is acquired during development, is the result of an accident, or the consequence of illness or aging, our programs and services meet the needs of children and adults of all ages with a wide and varied range of disabilities.

The mission of UCP of Long Island is to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of persons with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. We remain committed to our goal of creating Life Without Limits for People With Disabilities. As you browse these pages, I trust you will find the information contained helpful and the images displayed encouraging. It is our years and depth of quality experience and growth that make us a valuable resource and we are here for you.

Thank you for visiting our website. If you have any questions, or need any information or assistance, I encourage you to contact us.
